Indian Couture Week 2017 is a 7-day fashion show event, i.e 24 th – 30 th July. Many famous Indian designers showcased their amazing collections at the ICW. Here is an account of the best designer collections of Indian Couture Week 2017.
The show was kick-started by designer Anamika Khanna followed by Rohit Bal on the 24 th of July. Anamika Khanna showcased her couture collection titled ‘Luxury 2017’ as installation pieces at The Kila, Mehrauli, New Delhi. On the other hand, Rohit Bal displayed his collection ‘Khush Posh’ which speaks about classic embroidery and traditional crafts.
Designer Manav Gangwani stole many hearts with his beautiful collection ‘ India at 70’. His collection had a wide range of designs. From heavy embroidery to ruffle overdose, the pieces were alluring. Here are the best from his collection.
On the third day, Designers Reynu Taandon, Shyamal and Bhumika, and Tarun Tahiliani unrolled their collections at the ICW 2017. A perfect balance of traditional handwork, Taandon’s collection ‘CYAN’ was all about peacock blue hues. The designer duo Shyamal and Bhumika showcased their collection titled ‘The Princesses Soiree’. Designer Tarun Tahiliani amazed the audience with his mesmerizing collection named as ‘Tarakanna’.
